Stone Lions Don't Roar

Worked as a producer on the student capstone film "Stone Lions Don't Roar", a 10 minute animated short film following a young refugee as she attempts to keep her naive little sister safe in a world where emotions manifest as powerful stone beasts. Utilizing softwares such as Google Sheets, Shotgrid, Google Docs, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook I organized timelines, assigned tasks to crew members and extra help, and creatively strategized with the director and team members to create an intricate film in 9 months. "Stone Lions Don't Roar" is currently on its film festival run and has won the MAKE Thesis Grant in first place and has made it to the finals in the Rookie Awards.

Created the official press Kit for Stone Lions Don't Roar, giving information about the film for future press releases. The press kit also gave descriptions for each primary team member who was a part of the original capstone class and helped make the film from start to finish.

Made the base template for a team presentation to show to the SCAD Vice President and to a room of fellow artists, friends, and family members about how the film was created.  Some team members chose to change their slides to better fit what they wished to talk about while some remained as I had originally laid them out. It was a great team collaboration working with both team members and a presentation coach to improve our speaking parts and the information we shared.

With 19 core team members, over 20 extra help members, and over additional artists assisting with music and voice acting we had a lot of information that needed to fit into the final credits. For 19 members who worked on the film from the beginning there were many different tasks each person took under their wing, so to better establish these titles for credits I created a list of  the titles for team members to select what they would like to be primarily credited for. This allowed for our credits to be more organized and for it to be clear to an audience who may want to research members of the team to find those who truly have the work and focus they may be looking for in their demo reels and websites.

Created a list of T-Shirt companies that could assist us with creating a large number of T-Shirts and Sweatshirts for an upcoming merch sale. We bounced around the idea of embroyding our designs and debated whether of not we wished to make sweatshirts just for the crew or to actually sell. Ultimately we decided to go with one of the TaoBao sources for T-Shirts and the local shop Celebritees for sweatshirts.

T-Shirts were bought for $5.12 and sold for $18.99

Sweatshirts were bought for 24.67 and sold for $45
